Woman kicked off train for talking to loud on her cell

KATUSalem Police stopped an Amtrak train on Sunday afternoon after reports a woman threatened other passengers when they complained she was speaking too loudly on her cell phone. Lakeysha Beard of Tigard was charged with disorderly conduct after police said she got into a “verbal altercation” with passengers on the train. The other passengers complained she refused to put down her cell phone, even after train staff made repeated announcements for passengers to not use cell phones, according to police. When a passenger confronted her about her loud talking, police said Beard got aggressive. She had reportedly been talking non-stop on the phone since getting on the train in Oakland, Calif. Beard was taken into custody until a family member could come and pick her up.

You guys know I hate stereotypes, but this bitch is exactly the person I pictured of when I first read this story. A 6 footer who is obese and black, basically a Queen Latifah type.

She looks like the same lady from the El that won't stop talking about her sore feet on the phone; she looks exactly like every black woman that won't stop laughing insanely in the movie theaters, or the fatty at a comedy show that keeps yelling "thats true" when a comedian makes a joke.

Also she kinda looks like the woman security guard from the old sitcom, Night Court. I guess not really, but I'm finding that we have a shortage of fat, black, female celebrities in this country... that and I really liked that show growing up.

Obviously, I'm not surprised she was kicked off the train, but I am extremely surprised that she had enough pre paid minutes to get her from California to Oregon.

(Ed Note: She looks more like Rick James, ....bitch)

  1. Sadly, I did also. Have our lives become so reliant on electronics that we can't even ride a train without "reaching out and touching someone"? But then again...in her defense: is the phone the only way that she talks to people?
